FENAVI2018   Cyntia Izquierdo, co-editor of this website and member of the International Environmental Association of Odour Managers (AMIGO), gave a 1-day course on Odour management to the Colombian Poultry Federation (FENAVI) the 4th of September 2018. This Colombian association was celebrating its biannual conference and, among the many activities planned, the only course scheduled was this one about odour management.

   The members of this important association are facing new challenges after the approval of the recent Resolution 1541 that regulates the odour emission in many activities in Colombia. They also invited to the event to the editor of this website and president of AMIGO, Mr. Carlos Nietzsche Díaz, to talk about the approaches taken to regulate the odour impact of poultry production units in other countries during the Conference, held in Bucaramanga, Colombia, from the 5th to the 7th of September 2018.

olfasense workshop 2019   One more year the people of Olfasense is organizing a Technical Training day.  These successful Olfasense Workshops on Product and Material Testing and the Technical Training days have being going on for a few years as a way to introduce new advances and technologies available for a better estimation of the odour emission.

   On a yearly basis, Olfasense organizes these successful events in order to both discuss the state of the technology, and to have a practical hands on session on equipment and methods. This time the Odour Workshop on P&M Testing is planned for the 28th of January 2018 and the Technical Training Day is scheduled for the following day, 29th of January 2018.

workshop dnoses   The Scientific Group Leader of the D-NOSES project, Laura Capelli, with the collaboration of the organization of the NOSE conference has organized a D-NOSES workshop in the framework of the NOSE Conference that will take place next week in Milan, Italy.
