hugo profile   In October 2016 we organized the first Odour Talks. The idea was to select key experts in several fields of odour management and to let them present a work of interest on the subject. To make this experience available to the rest of the world, we did a webcast online of the Talks. Some people subscribed to the webcast sessions and they could do online questions to the speakers. A few months after this experience, we have decided to make the videos available to everyone, so here you have the first Odour Talk by Mr. Hugo van Belois.

  Mr van Belois is an environmental engineer that studied in the Wageningen university and who has worked in the field of odour /odour nuisance in the Netherlands for over 25 years. He has worked both in the consultancy and with the government. The last five years he has worked as an independent consultant on the field of Air quality and a healthy living environment.

19conference   The 19th Conference Odour and Emissions of Plastic Materials will be held the 21st and the 22nd of March 2017 in Kassel, Germany. This conference started in 1999 as a forum where all people interested in odour and emissions of plastics in interiors could meet and discuss about these topics. The interest in odours of plastics has continued to grow significantly.

   All users and manufacturers as well as customers who use plastics in interiors are invited to participate in the 19th OEConference, in particular the automobile industry and suppliers, furniture and camper manufacturers, the foodstuffs  industry, the recycling industry etc.

   The following topics will be covered, with focus on odour and emissions:

Olfasense workshops   The company Olfasense is organizing a Technical Training Day and a Workshop on Product and Material Testing at their Olfasense laboratory facilities in Kiel, Germany, the 25th of January 2017. Even though it is more than two months away, the registration list is filling up quickly, so if you were thinking about attending this event you better hurry up because there is a limited amount of places available.

   In this Olfasense Technical Training Day the attendants will have the opportunity of learning how to set up, maintain and manage an olfactometry laboratory. As a bonus, the following day there will be also the 2017 edition of their Workshop on Product and Material Testing.
