Online course on Wastewater Collection System Odor and Corrosion Control, Apr 06, 2022

bcwwa course on odors from collection systems   The British Columbia Water & Waste Association (BCWWA) is a not-for-profit organization that represents around 4,000 water professionals in this province of Canada. This time, the BCWWA are organizing a 1-day course on the issue of odors from collection systems.

   This Wastewater Collection System Odor and Corrosion Control - Virtual Classroom will take place the 6th of April. The course has a cost of $429.00 + GST (around 300€), and the last date to register is March 30, 2022.

   According to the organizers, after completing this course, the attendants will be able to: 1) Describe the conditions where odor and corrosion can occur in a wastewater collection system. 2) Analyze and determine corrective strategies to minimize or eliminate odors generate within a wastewater collection system; 3) Assess levels of corrosion within the wastewater collection system; and 4) Perform the necessary procedures to control/minimize/eliminate odor and/or corrosion problems within wastewater lift stations.
