The American Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) is changing its odor Technical Committee (TC). Now Ms. Angie Wagner is the new chair of this odor TC, with Mr. Ray Porter as co-chair. One of the first actions of this new TC has been to coordinate an odor session within the next A&WMA Annual Conference & Exhibition (“ACE”) that will take place on June 5-8, 2023, in Orlando, Florida.

So if you are an odor expert interested in waste management, this is an exciting spot to be in next year. The call for abstracts for ACE is open until November 15, so hurry up and submit your abstract if you want to be part of this special session.

We are proud and satisfied to have organised the ninth IWA odour management conference, but now it is time to hand it over to other organisers. Accordingly, the University of New South Wales will coordinate the following IWA conference on odour management in conjunction with the well-known organization CASANZ.

This conference will probably take place on 26-27 August 2024 in Hobart, Tasmania. Workshops/training courses are planned to take place on Sunday, 25 August and site visits on Wednesday, 28 August.

After being postponed on a couple of occasions due to the pandemic situation of COVID19. The 7th World Congress on Digital Olfaction will finally be held on November 29-30, 2022 as a hybrid meeting in Tokyo - Japan, in-person & online.

The Organising Committee of the 7th World Congress on Digital Olfaction is making a final call for last-minute submissions of short papers (in person, online or via video) to participate in this exciting conference dedicated to olfaction and digital olfaction among a variety of fields such as biology, medicine, computer science, electronics, chemistry, mechanical engineering, psychology, art, etc.
