MAsterChileOlores   The Chilean Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso is launching the second undergraduate Diploma on Management, Control and Evaluation of atmospheric odour emissions. To our knowledge, this Diploma is the first odour management official Diploma given by an University. Previous editions have been so successful that the initiative is taken place again this year. The Diploma on Odour Management will be given on the modality of b-learning, so if you are from any other country and you speak Spanish, you will be able to participate.

   This Official Diploma in Management, Control and Evaluation of Atmospheric Odour emissions, has been designed and developed by the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaiso (PUCV), through the Curauma Biotechnology Nucleus (NBC). The content of this Diploma has been configured to prepare the students to learn new abilities, related to different areas of the environmental engineering, so that they can set strategies for a better odour management inside their organizations.

casanzairtalks2022   The AIR TALKS 2022, is a series of webinars organised by the  Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand (CASANZSpecial Interest Groups (SIGs). As many of you probably know, last AIR TALKS took place a couple of years ago and there was a specific session on odours. That session was a success and again, a special session on odour has been planned for the 7th of April 2022.

   Running from 28 March to 8 April 2022, the CASANZ AIR TALKS 2022 will include a special session on odours. This session is titled "Health and Odour" and will take place on Thursday 7th of April 2022 from 16.00 to 18.00 AEST (2.00 pm AWST | 3.30 pm ACST | 6.00 pm NZST | 8.00 am BST & CEST).

webcast WEF odors 2022   From time to time, the Water Environmental Federation (WEF) organizes webcasts related to odor management. This time, the webcast have the title "Odor Measurement and Monitoring – From the Basics to the Latest" and will deal with both an introduction to the science of odor management and with a brief description of the latest advances in this field. This webcast is programmed for this March 24, 2022.

   This webinar will provide a primer on basic principles of odor measurement in both collection systems and in treatment facilities, followed by a look at recent international advancements in regulation, monitoring, and sensing. Ray David of Greeley & Hansen, Alejandro Caicedo-Ramirez of V&A Consulting Engineers and the editor of, will be speakers in this webcast.
