We’re doing something new—something a little bit crazy! We’ve reached out to 12 organisations from around the world who share our enthusiasm and sense of fun. Together, we want to shine a spotlight on the word “odour/odor”, raising awareness of it and celebrating the fantastic people working in this field. So, we’re circling the globe, talking about odour/odor for 24 hours straight! Would you like to join us?
The 24-hour Marathon on Odour/Odor Management (24h-MOM) will take place on 12 November 2025. The Call for Content is now open until 1 August 15 August. We invite researchers, professionals, and students to submit proposals for presentations at this international event. Interested in taking part? Read on!
The event will run continuously for 24 hours, starting in Australia and New Zealand and then sequentially rotating through Asia, Europe, South America, and North America. Each time zone segment will have local organisations responsible for coordinating and selecting presentations for their region, ensuring that the main challenges and advances in odor/odour management worldwide are represented.
When submitting your content, please indicate the organisation corresponding to the time zone of your presentation. This will help each regional committee to properly manage the proposals received for their area.

Instructions for Abstract Submission
- There is no maximum length for your submission. Write as much as you like, but please include a summary of your work of approximately 400 words.
- Use the appropriate template depending on whether your editor is open source or the proprietary Microsoft Office.
- Submission deadline: 1 August 2025. 15 August 2025

Each organization will review the abstracts received, and acceptance will be communicated to the authors by mid-August 2025. The provisional program will be available by the end of August. Accepted works will be presented in a virtual oral format during the event.
