Over 30 abstracts presented for acceptance

More than 30 abstracts presented  The call for abstracts is closed and we are very happy to share with you that we have got over 30 abstracts presented for acceptance in this III Conference on Environmental Odour management in Bilbao. The quality of the abstracts in general is outstanding, so we are sure we will have a very inspiring event.

- But hey! did I miss something? I did not see any call for abstracts!.

Well you probably did not see the call for abstracts cause it was made in Spanish. The olores.org website main language is English, but that does not mean that it is the only language in the website. We have also articles in German, French, Polish and quite a few in Spanish. If any of those is your language and you feel you want to communicate anything to the world, send it to us in your local language (we recommend you send an English translation as well for a wider audience).

As the IWA conference is just a week before our event in Bilbao, we thought that there was no point in doing a bilingual conference similar to the one we organized last year.

So anyway we decided to do a monolingual conference, similar to the one organized by the German Engineers Association (VDI) a week beforehand as well, by the way.

This does not mean that you cannot present a paper in English. It does not even mean that you have to do the presentation of your paper in Spanish. It just mean that we will not provide direct translation to the attendees and if you decide to present your paper in English you will it do at your own risk. Please assume that not all the people might understand your speech ;-).

So anyway, we are discussing a few things here but meanwhile we will send the abstracts to the scientific committee to check quality and other paramters. We will keep you posted on this, meanwhile, we will be still accepting abstracts for now.

The organizing committee  is taking care of every single detail to make sure that you enjoy this event and you find many business opportunities or academic ones.

We are doing our best to include as many papers as possible in the conference, but we have to make sure that we keep the highest quality standards.
