The congress programme addressed key topics such as olfactometry, modelling, sensors, citizen science, regulatory policies, and innovative technologies for odour control and mitigation. The presence of prominent sponsors and exhibitors such as TSG Environmental, Ecolife, Proterm, Odour Solution, Salimax, Xylem, Tholander, Ecotec, R8 Ingeniería, Chilecarne, and Induambiente enriched the event with stands showcasing advanced technology and specialised services.
The support of authorities, such as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Environment, and the participation of international experts, highlighted the significance of the meeting in advancing regulatory frameworks and national and international strategies. Holding the event at the Universidad Andrés Bello campus provided a space for dialogue and networking that fostered collaboration among various stakeholders in the sector.
Furthermore, the congress served as a platform to present research and success stories, and to strengthen cooperation between environmental regulatory bodies in the pursuit of improved management of odour impacts. The organisation, backed by high-level sponsors and the collaboration of academic and governmental institutions, successfully fulfilled its objective of fostering knowledge exchange and promoting innovative solutions, consolidating itself as a key event in odour management in Latin America.
