Update in the youtube channel. We just included new videos!

There are some new videos included in the olores.org youtube channel, however, there are a few more to come as we will include the videos of the speakers at the conference.

   This time, we would like to show you some of the videos we took at the booths. Some of the videos were recorded in English and a few more were recorded in Spanish.

   Just to mention the ones in English, we had a talk with Mike McGinley who showed us some features of the Nasal Ranger and described their new and innovative ODOR TRACK'R™ a system that records odor inspection and odor complaint data and graphically displays it on Google Earth® and Google Maps®.

   Odournet was there in Chile as well and Marc Andresen showed us their platform Odourmap, a web based application that collects and registers processes, and shows, reports and communicates various types of data in a Maps display, showing information that is relevant to managing community relations where sensory impacts are concerned.

   David Giard from the Canadian company Consumaj showed us their brand new onose-8 Stationary Dynamic Dilution Olfactometer and also some new sampling instruments such as a Flux Chamber, a very interesting sampling probe that can dilute up to eighty times on site. Consumaj also sells sampling bags made of Teflon or Nalophan and last and a vacuum chamber with adjustable sampling time.

   Last but not least we had a talk with Ardevan Bakhtari, about their personal olfactometer SM100 and how to use the ambient measurements data collected by this device and also measurements made at the stack to set them as data for the dispersion software Pureenviro. Pureenviro is a gaussian dispersion model that uses these data to display odour plumes. For ambient measurement it takes the GPS position, wind speed and odour data and perform a back calculation to try to determine the odour source.
