   PAUL stands for Portable Aqua Unit for Lifesaving. This device can filter more than 99.99% of viruses, bacteria and other pathogens using a membrane filter. This filter has a lifespan of 10 years, so the equipment can filter 1200 litres of water per day, enough for 400 victims to survive.

   And many will wonder why we are talking on a site dedicated to odour management about portable water purification stations for disasters.

   The answer is that the inventor of PAUL is Mr Franz Frechen, who has been working in odour management for several decades.

   Also, it turns out that Franz is a good friend of the editor of this site, so this editor has decided to include this news for today.
