At olores.org our primary revenue stream is through the advertisements that you see on our web-site. We depend upon this revenue in order to maintain our operations and continue serving the odour managers around the world. This is a part-time job that we do together with other consulting jobs, so the frequency of updates depend on our daily work load.
Olores.org was started in 2004 by Carlos Diaz who continues to serve as the principal author for the many articles published on olores.org each year. A common misconception is that olores.org has a whole team of writers and significant resources like other publications, but that's not the case. Thus, most of the work falls onto the shoulders of Carlos and lately also Cyntia who frequently invest many hours every week working on olores.org.
By supporting olores.org either through advertisements, or making a monetary contribution to our website, we will continue with our work. The funds are used directly for supporting the hosting, domains, travel costs when covering odour conferences, and the many other expenses associated with running this web-site over the past decade.
