Registration for the EN 13725 Interlaboratory Comparison ILC2016 is now open
The Interlaboratory Comparison for Olfactometry (ILC) based on EN 13725:2003 has been announced for 2016 and the company Olfasense is behind the organization. The proficiency tests allow laboratories to demonstrate compliance with its performace requirements and compare the performance of their laboratory internationally.
This proficiency test allows laboratories to demonstrate compliance with its performace requirements and compare the performance of their laboratory internationally. The participation in Proficiency Testing (PT) for laboratories accredited to ISO17025 is not facultative. In addition, it is a nice exercise to have more information about the performance of your lab.
In 2014, a total of 40 laboratories from 14 different countries participated in an interlaboratory test to check proficiency according to European standard EN 13725/2003. Test criteria used in that comparison to assess the results were the precision under repeatability conditions r and accuracy A for 1-butanol of the laboratory according to EN 13725.
This ILC is organized by the company Olfasense. This company was created not long time ago, however the people behind has plenty of experience in organizing Interlaboratory Comparison for olfactometry based on EN 13725:2003, as they did in previous editions.
The measurements for this proficiency test 2016 will be carried out between 20 and 24 June 2016, inclusive. Participation needs to be confirmed by 29 April 2016 at the latest.
