   Once again we are back in action, and we are already organizing a new conference for the end of the year 2024. This time we will hold a conference in Spanish, on November 5 and 6 (new dates), 2024, at the BEC (Bilbao Exhibition Centre) in Barakaldo, Bizkaia, Spain. Please note that the official language of this conference will be Spanish. We recommend attending the A&WMA, the IWA and the NOSE international conferences this year if you wish to use the English language instead.

   This type of event brings together engineers, scientists, researchers, students, local authorities, managers, industrial activities, and other professionals to address and discuss emerging odour issues and new advances in Odour Management.

   All the papers presented during the Conference on Odour Management in the Environment, OLORES25, held in Santiago in April 2025, have been gradually published over the lasts months. Finally, all the papers have been published, and you can find them here, gathered in a single article.

   On this occasion, the conference was organized by the AMIGO Association with the collaboration of Olores.org, sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment of the Government of Chile and Andrés Bello University, and supported by TSG Environmental, Ecolife,Proterm, Odour Solution, Salimax, Xylem, and Tholander. This International Conference on Odour Management in the Environment took place on April 9th and 10th, 2025, at the Casona de las Condes Campus of Andrés Bello University in Santiago (Chile).

   The International Congress on Odour Management in the Environment, OLORES25, held in Santiago, Chile on 9 and 10 April 2025, was a resounding success, establishing itself as a benchmark in the field of odour management, measurement, and control in the environment. This event, organised by the AMIGO association and the Olores.org portal, brought together 250 professionals from Europe, USA, Canada and Latin America, including experts from the public, private, and academic sectors, who shared experiences, research, and technological solutions.

   The congress programme addressed key topics such as olfactometry, modelling, sensors, citizen science, regulatory policies, and innovative technologies for odour control and mitigation. This event was made possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of the Environment and the Department of Environmental Engineering at Universidad Andrés Bello. The presence of prominent sponsors and exhibitors such as TSG Environmental, Ecolife, Proterm, Odour Solution, Salimax, Xylem, Tholander, Ecotec, R8 Ingeniería, Chilecarne, and Induambiente enriched the event with stands showcasing advanced technology and specialised services.
