 On Thursday 2nd of July 2009, the first Project of Law related with odour pollution was presented in the Deputy Chamber of Chile. This project is in these moments on its first constitutional stage, under study through the Commission of Natural Resources, National Goods and Environment. Should this Project get approved, it would mean a very significant move forward in the regulation of odour pollution in this country.This project aims to enhance the environmental quality through the regulation of the problem of odour pollution or olfactory contamination to, by this way, proportionate an answer to the countless citizen complaints over this matter and to reply with a the legal body adapted to treat odour emission by some factories. Me parece una buena iniciativa pero donde aparecen las unidades de medida y el valor lÃmite? Sin números y sin unidades de medida volvemos a lo que decÃa el de la discoteca... -pues a mà no me parece que moleste tanto :-)

Las unidades de medida son: ou/m3 para la concentración de olor y ou/s para la emisión. En términos de valor lÃmite creo que depende de muchos factores y es parte de las autoridades respectivas evaluado cada caso en particular cuál debiese ser el valor lÃmite para controlar.
